After recent conversation with a close friend, i have come to the conclusion that my mindset has been a tad skewed. Yes, not working anymore & not having my class anymore is very sad. I deserved to grieve. But now it is time for me to move on. The choice was ultimately mine to make & I maintained my integrity for which I am grateful for. So, I am not the victim. I never was but I could not see that in my grief. 7 years is quite ironic. I am at the threshold of something new & exciting. When it is ready it will come. I will have to be ready & that is what I am doing. So over the next few days there will be a flurry of works not previously published here. 

I am always grateful for the comments & faves but please if I fave your work it is assumed that you have thanked me because the little pop up button also tells us "Thanks!"  
I would rather people spent time on looking at art or commenting on the artworks - everyone's not just mine, than please & thank you's.

After 7 years of service, the company I worked for so tirelessly decided that if I refused to travel for 3 hours to another town, my services were no longer required. Sux. Big time. Totally devastated but trying to stay positive. 

Now I will have time to be on here & do more of everything I didn't have time for after 30 June.  

It is hard to believe that I have not updated anything since last year!

Yes, I have been busy with life & work. That is not to say that I have not created any artworks at all. It certainly has slowed but not stopped.

I have added images from August last year & will continue to upload images over the next few weeks.

Thank you to the lovely people who continue to offer support & encouragement even though I have returned the favour very much in the last year.

I have my new computer now & have W8.1 So far all is good. New ways of working but no major dramas. I love the touch screen.

I have a new batch of rat babies almost ready to go to new forever homes. They are adorable & just like young puppies, they just cannot get enough cuddles & playtime. They nibble & play tag, amusing all with their little antics.

This weekend I have my sister flying up for a visit. My daughter's visit was great. I miss her so much but I am also very proud of her. She is back to playing rugby league but this time with head gear! I'd love to see her move up here but I understand that work is better for her where she is.

Not looking forward to the cold snap we are supposed to be in for on the weekend. At least the weeds will stop growing. Shorter days - yuk! The only saving grace is that I will have more time for crocheting & knitting as well as my artworks rather than being in the garden.
